GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY just crossed the threshold of $250 million (domestically) which makes it biggest film of the summer. Director James Gunn and fans have a lot to be happy about, and for the past month, Gunn has been updating his Instagram account with behind-the-scenes pictures taken during principal photography. You can check out his account for all of ’em, but I’ve included some of my favorites below.
I really can’t sling enough praise towards GUARDIANS, in that it was exactly the flick I wanted it to be. Sometimes expectations can ruin a film-going experience, but in rare cases they are met and exceeded. Marvel delivered two very different and thrilling flicks this year and they rank up there as some of the best comic book films ever made.
