The trailer has arrived for Jeffrey Dollmer, an upcoming horror movie that takes the idea of a killer doll in an especially disturbing direction. The film imagines a doll possessed by the spirit of notorious serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, and Uncork’d Entertainment is preparing to release it on VOD and digital platforms on November 3, 2026.

The title alone is likely to provoke strong reactions. Using the name and likeness of a real-life serial killer, particularly one responsible for the murders of 17 men and boys, is a choice many viewers will find offensive. The film is clearly courting controversy with its premise. For those who are interested in extreme, provocative horror, however, Jeffrey Dollmer is on the way.

Directed by Mark Savage (Marauders, Purgatory Road), Jeffrey Dollmer was written by John Doolan (Popeye the Slayer Man) and producer Jeff Miller (Clowntown). The cast includes Charlie Trepany, Chey Crieger, Juliana Destefano, Adam Huss, Eva Hamilton, and Tom Parnell, with Brian Joseph Mange as Jeffrey Dahmer. Jeffrey Reddick, the original writer of Final Destination, also makes a cameo appearance.

The synopsis for the film reads:

“Dahmer finds a doll in 1991 and performs a ritual in an attempt to transfer his spirit into it, but is captured before he can finish his evil plans. For decades, the doll remains locked away in police evidence—until it is finally discarded and finds its way back into the world. In the present day, the doll’s spirit is accidentally summoned and quickly latches onto a young model who bears a resemblance to its former owner. When the model travels to a remote photo shoot, the possessed doll follows, turning the isolated set into a killing ground as it begins stalking fellow competitors and co-workers.”

Miller previously announced plans to launch the Twisted Serial Killer Universe, with Jeffrey Dollmer and Ted Bunny serving as its first two entries. The latter film is being directed by Michael Fredianelli from a screenplay he wrote with producer Maralynn Adams. Its cast includes Diana Roman, Zanna Wyant, Brad Satterwhite, and Dee Wallace.

That means Jeffrey Dollmer isn’t necessarily intended to be a one-off oddity. It’s the opening installment of a planned horror universe built around outrageous, fictionalized takes on notorious real-life killers. Whether audiences embrace that concept, the filmmakers are certainly putting a provocative idea on the table.
