Welcome to JoBlo's Gruesome Movie Trivia Quizzes! Last week we kicked off the month of October with a quiz focusing on Universal's famous monsters, and now we'll jump forward several decades to a monster who dominated the slasher genre of the 1980's: Jason Voorhees. I doubt many of the people involved with the first FRIDAY THE 13TH film ever suspected that it would take off the way it did, after all, this was a low-budget slasher flick with very few recognizable names attached, why would anyone take notice? But take notice they did and a new horror franchise was soon born which spawned nine sequels, one crossover with A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET, one remake (with another on the way) and made a star out of Jason Voorhees. So lock your door, take a break from all the premarital sex and prepare to discover just how much you know about the man behind the mask!
