Alright folks for some reason it’s an insanely slow news morning so I’m going to go ahead and pass along a piece of info that may interest some of you, but most could probably care less.
You guys remember me telling you how NBC was preparing “Fear Factor” for a comeback? Well according to The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed blog the original show’s host Joe Rogan is all geared up and ready to make a comeback as well. Groovy.
Now your excitement with this news all depends on how much of a Joe Rogan (above) fan you are I suppose. Personally I figure a rebooted show should probably have a new face to go with it but then again I can see Rogan’s return working. The show will be returning to NBC with an eight-episode arc.
According to “Fear Factor” executive producer Matt Kunitz the new show will focus on the family and embrace technology in a way that the earlier incarnation was unable to. So there’s something new to look forward to. I’m actually intrigued to see how much different it’s going to be. It’s also been said the show will be cutting back on the bugs and disgusting food segments. We’ll see how that works out.
There’s no telling right now when this eight-episode return will kick-off but as soon as we hear more on “Fear Factor’s” comeback we’ll be sure to let you all know!
