That poster above is simply badass. The menacing glare, the deep darkness of those eyes, the unsightly bright red, and of course the bloody HA. There’s not much more you need is there? Almost makes me want to replace the Why So Serious Joker poster already on my wall…. almost.
Above is the newest poster for THE DARK KNIGHT. Only the weird thing is… this one isn’t being used for any advertising (thus far). It’s solely here for you to purchase and enjoy over at AllPosters… for now at least.
It seems like every single poster released for THE DARK KNIGHT has ranked right at the top of the awesome scale. My favorite is still the Why So Serious? one I mentioned with The Joker standing behind a pane of glass. A close second is the banner featuring a closeup of The Joker’s face.
I wonder if we’ll see any Two-Face (not Harvey Dent) posters before release? Probably not. I doubt we’ll see anything Two-Face aside from the little hints here and there… they’ve got to keep something under wraps for the flick, right?
Potentially one of the greatest performances in years happens on July 18 when Heath Ledger portrays The Joker in THE DARK KNIGHT. That’s less than one month away people! And as I said months ago… with each DARK KNIGHT story comes a photo of Maggie Gyllenhaal… so enjoy.
