Judy Greer stars in Hulu’s Into The Dark: Good Boy about a killer help dog

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

INTO THE DARK is "a monthly horror event series from Jason Blum's independent TV studio" that streams on Hulu. Each feature-length installment is inspired by a holiday, and next month's episode "GOOD BOY" is celebrating "Pet Appreciation Week", which is about

Maggie, a woman who gets an emotional support dog to help quell some of her anxiety. Only, she finds him to be even more effective than she could have imagined because, unbeknownst to her, he kills anyone who adds stress to her life.

Hulu has also released a trailer for the episode, which you see in the embed at the top of the article. Looks fun to me! I especially love the incongruity of the small dog doing a lot of damage (as most killer dog movies are about huge, lumbering ones like CUJO and MAN'S BEST FRIEND). I'm also a huge fan of Greer's, so I'm just happy to see her take on some more leading roles.

Meanwhile, the INTO THE DARK: GOOD BOY episode – which also stars Steve Guttenberg, Ellen Wong, Elise Neal, Maria Conchita Alonso, McKinley Freeman and Chico the Dog – will premiere on Hulu June 12th.

But what do you guys think? Fans of the INTO THE DARK series? If so, what's been your favorite so far? Either way, sound off below!
