I’m a JURASSIC PARK fan. The first one of course, but I also liked the other two. Even Tea Leoni (below) thought I was joking when I told her I liked JURASSIC PARK 3. (seriously. She laughed and said ‘very funny.’).
Well if you might remember, directly following the success of JURASSIC PARK 3, talks for JURASSIC PARK 4 began immediately. Actually, the same time Steven Spielberg was hinting at an INDIANA JONES 4, he was also giving us hope for a JURASSIC PARK 4. Well ever since those stories about dinosaurs with jetpacks and machine guns starring in JP4, we haven’t heard any news regarding it… until now.
ComingSoon.net recently spoke with producer Frank Marshall, and when the topic of JURASSIC PARK 4 came up, Marshall had this to say:
“There’s an idea and we just have to see if it shakes out.”
Basically that means that after the strike is over, there’s plans on getting a script worked on asap for a 2009 release. Now as a big fan of the JURASSIC PARK franchise, I’m excited about this. But please…. oh please… no jetpack flying, super-robotic, machine gun wielding dinosaurs.
