Back in November of last year, we got our first glimpse of Karl Urban (STAR TREK) as law enforcement officer Judge Dredd in the Pete Travis-directed reboot, DREDD. That shot was said to be taken from the set of a rehearsal test, but today we’re getting our first official look at the character… and he looks practically the same. (Why’s the helmet so BIG, though?)
Film is currently in post and is expected to be released sometime early next year. Along with Urban in the title role, DREDD stars Lena Headey (“Game of Thrones”), Olivia Thirlby (NO STRINGS ATTACHED), and Domhnall Gleeson (HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS).
