If you're feeling a sudden inclination to bust out some Buffalo Bill dance moves it's likely due to the fact that Kevin Smith has just announced that filming for the JAY AND SILENT BOB reboot has wrapped. Filming on the follow-up to his 2011 original JAY AND SILENT BOB STRIKE BACK only took the fan favorite filmmaker 21 days to shoot, the same amount of time that was needed to capture CLERKS some 26 years ago. In the upcoming film, the Quickstop slackers, Jay and Silent Bob, return to Hollywood to stop a reboot of a 'Bluntman and Chronic' movie from getting made.

Returning to the Askewniverse for more snoogins, sappy speeches, and shenanigans of course are Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes as Jay and Silent Bob, respectively. Joining them for the highly-anticipated comedy are stars Shannon Elizabeth (AMERICAN PIE), Joe Manganiello (TRUE BLOOD), Harley Quinn Smith (YOGA HOSERS), Grant Gustin (The CW's THE FLASH, GLEE), Justin Long (JEEPERS CREEPERS, TUSK), Jason Lee (MY NAME IS EARL, MALLRATS), Craig Robinson (BROOKLYN NINE-NINE), Molly Shannon (SUPERSTAR, NEVER BEEN KISSED) and Brian O'Halloran (CLERKS, MALLRATS), among others.

We are so ready to party with Jay and Silent Bob when their new film arrives in theaters. In fact, I think we should celebrate this momentous occasion with a little bit of song and dance, courtesy of Morris Day and The Time! Booooooooong!
