Stuart Gordon has one of the most twisted minds this genre has ever seen. That’s pretty much a fact, right? Now let’s take H.P. Lovecraft. The dude is a bonafide psycho, right? But we love him! You go ahead and add these two minds together and you get the 2001 freakshow DAGON. You also get today’s Kill of the Day! In today’s scene we’ve got this poor bastard getting his face and scalp literally peeled off. I’ve got to say, this is probably one of the most brutal deaths I’ve come across. That’s saying something.
