New Snowpiercer trailer barrels forward, looks epic!

Here’s the latest trailer for Bong Joon-ho’s SNOWPIERCER, the post-apocalyptic thriller set entirely (I think) on a train. This preview is a bit shorter than the last one we glimpsed, but no less cool.

Based on the French graphic novel “Le Transperceneige,” SNOWPIERCER is set in a future where, after a failed experiment to stop global warming, an Ice Age kills off all life on the planet except for the inhabitants of the Snow Piercer, a train that travels around the globe and is powered by a sacred perpetual-motion engine. A class system evolves on the train but a revolution brews.

We’er still unsure when SNOWPIERCER will be released, but supposedly the film will debut later this year. Fingers crossed.

SNOWPIERCER stars Chris Evans, Song Kang-ho, Tilda Swinton, Jamie Bell, Octavia Spencer, Ewen Brewmner, Alison Pill, John Hurt and Ed Harris.
