While NBC works on a television series about Hannibal the Cannibal, Lifetime (the network for women) is revving up development on a show about Hannibal’s famous adversary, Clarice Starling.

TV Guide reports that the series, titled “Clarice,” would follow the exploits of a young Clarice Starling soon after she graduates from the FBI academy.

The show is being produced by MGM, although it’s unclear who is crafting the narrative for it. We don’t know how far along they are either.
