It's been reported by Deadline that WarnerMedia has acquired the major world rights to the Doug Liman-directed heist movie/romantic comedy Lockdown, starring Anne Hathaway and Ben Stiller.
Joining the aforementioned duo for Liman's latest is Chiwetel Ejiofor, Stephen Merchant, Lucy Boynton, Ben Kingsley, Mindy Kaling, and Dule Hill. The film, which has a script penned by Steven Wright, provided Liman with a chance to work with an impressive ensemble cast in an intimate setting. Modestly-budgeted, Lockdown found a way to shoot in London during a time when film production is a dangerous and expensive endeavor.
