Logan Paul walked out of Oppenheimer, blames exposition

Logan Paul walked out of Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer because there was too much talking and “nothing happened.”

Logan Paul Oppenheimer

Between hosting a wildly popular podcast, maintaining a multimillion-subscriber YouTube channel and being one of the best professional wrestlers in the game today (who would have thought?), Logan Paul is a busy man. And busy men do not have time for three-hour movies about the dawn of the Atomic Age, especially if they think it’s all talking.

Logan Paul recently revealed on his podcast, Impaulsive (described as “The world’s greatest, most thought-provoking, mentally stimulating podcast in the history of mankind…hosted by a bunch of idiots”), that he made it through about a ninth of Oppenheimer before bailing. “I walked out of Oppenheimer…I didn’t know what they were trying [to do]. ‘What are you doing?’ Everyone’s just talking. It’s just an hour and a half, 90 minutes, of talking, just talking, talking…It’s all exposition. Nothing happened.” Something tells us there might have been something for Paul to enjoy if he stuck around a little longer…

Logan Paul, it seems, has a tough history with the films of Christopher Nolan, saying he barely made it through the first 18 minutes of Interstellar (which clocks in at a measly 164 minutes) but has since named it one of his favorite movies. No word on how many tries it took him to come around to Memento.

While Oppenheimer heads towards being one of the five highest-grossing movies of the year (it’s just shy of The Little Mermaid), Logan Paul himself has had quite the summer himself. Although a dirty win, his victory over Ricochet at this year’s Summerslam is another key one that will easily help continue his push in the WWE. And with the moves and charisma that he displays in the squared circle, he could be headlining Wrestlemania (well, a night one at least) within a couple of years. Meanwhile, Christopher Nolan’s film will certainly have a good run at its own big show, as many are anticipating it to be one of the top contenders at this year’s Academy Awards. Logan Paul, however, might be pulling for Barbie.
