M. Night Shyamalan is 20 pages into his new script

With Blumhouse's GET OUT making all the money and getting all the praise it might be easy for some of us to already begin to forget about the other Blumhouse production that made a huge splash only earlier this year.

That's right, I'm talking about SPLIT. While it has been a long time (or, you know, a few days) since we had any news on the SPLIT 2 front, it looks like M. Night himself is keeping us up-to-date, with this new tweet he posted.

First week of writing the first draft of the new screenplay. 20pages. As per my ritual, I'm reading an Elmore Leonard novel to be inspired.

Nice. Looks like Shyalaman is hard at work on his "new script." Now while it is debatable that the new script he mentioned is SPLIT 2 aka SPOILER SEQUEL 2, with all the talk he had been spouting over the last few weeks it seems like a done deal that this is the film he is currently script.

And 20 pages in too! That's damn near the entire first act. Can't wait to see what M. Night and the rest of the SPLIT/UNBREAKABLE crew come up with this time around.

I know I will be first in line to see it.
