At long last, we finally know when MACHETE KILLS will be unsheathed!

Open Road Films officially announced today that Robert Rodriguez’s continued exploitation saga MACHETE KILLS will bludgeon theatergoers on September 13, 2013. Oscar contender perhaps? HA!

MACHETE KILLS finds the titular ex-federale (Trejo) recruited by the U.S. government to stop a terrorist named Mendez the Madman, who happens to be Mexico’s leading cartel dealer.

Danny Trejo, Mel Gibson, Charlie Sheen, Edward James Olmos, Cuba Gooding Jr., Demian Bechir, Amber Heard, Sofia Vergara, Antonio Banderas, Alexa Vega, Vanessa Hudgens, William Sadler, Jessica Alba, Zoe Saldana, Marko Zaror, Michelle Rodriguez, Lady Gaga, Crystal McCahill (below) and Elise and Electra Avellan comprise the epic ensemble.
