Details on Mads Mikkelsen role in DOCTOR STRANGE have been kept under wraps, but we do know that the actor has been cast as the film's main villain, who has been described as "a sorcerer who breaks off into his own sect."
Now, thanks to Heroic Hollywood, we may finally know for sure who he's playing in the Marvel movie. Personally I don't think the identity of Mikkelsen's character is that big of a deal, but if you'd still rather not know, well, here's your spoiler warning.
So HH recently received an image and some info on the upcoming Marvel Minimates based on DOCTOR STRANGE, and according to the description of the toys, Mikkelsen is playing Kaecilius, who in the comics is a disciple of Baron Mordo. Although the site does caution that Kaecilius might just be a place holder name to avoid spoiling the film, it does look like that's who the actor is playing.
