North American rights to Jacob Vaughan’s horror comedy MILO has been picked up by Magnet Releasing just before SXSW officially closed up shop last weekend.

The film centers on a man (Marino) with intense stomach trouble who horror that he actually has a demon living inside his intestines. When he gives it permission to come out during a therapy session, the man names it Milo and tries to live a life in which he, not his demon, is in charge.

Jacob Vaughan said:

Magnet is the perfect home for MILO. The company is second-to-none in releasing quality genre movies, and their passion for MILO is overwhelming. I’m confident they will do an incredible job positioning the film in the marketplace and getting it seen by audiences everywhere.

Magnet is definitely a great place for this kind of film so expect release dates and all that good stuff to head your way soon!
