Mahershala Ali shares Blade art on Instagram, possible early concept art?

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

So, it's been known for a while now that MOONLIGHT star Mahershala Ali would be playing BLADE in the MCU, replacing the iconic Wesley Snipes. He will be making his first appearance in the upcoming DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS.

However, that film is still a ways away, and development has mostly been halted due to current events. However, Ali has posted some BLADE art on his official Instagram, which you can see below:

Now, this is most likely just fan art, but it could also be an early design. And, if so, it looks like it's going to hew pretty closely to Snipes' look (which was iconic for a reason, so no complaints from me!)

But what do you guys think? You excited for more BLADE? If so, how do you feel about Ali in the role? Either way, sound off below!

Meanwhile, BLADE will be showing up in DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS March 25th, 2022.
