Last Updated on July 30, 2021

SCREAM franchise stars Neve Campbell, David Arquette, and Courteney Cox are all coming back for the new SCREAM film that's set to be directed by READY OR NOT's Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett (you can watch READY OR NOT at THIS LINK), and now it has been revealed that they're not the only ones who will be reprising roles from previous SCREAM films in this sequel. Marley Shelton has officially signed on to reprise the role of Deputy Judy Hicks, a character introduced in SCREAM 4.

Joining these franchise veterans in the film are Dylan Minnette (DON'T BREATHE), Mikey Madison (ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD), Jasmin Savoy Brown (The Leftovers), Mason Gooding (BOOKSMART), and genre regular Kyle Gallner, whose credits include RED (the Lucky McKee one), THE HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT, JENNIFER'S BODY, the NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET remake, RED STATE, and The Walking Dead.

As we've previously reported, the cast also includes Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, and Jack Quaid.

Scripted by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick, the new SCREAM will begin filming in Wilmington, North Carolina later this year and is aiming for a January 14, 2022 release.

Project X Entertainment's Vanderbilt, Paul Neinstein, and William Sherak are producing the film, with Chad Villella serving as executive producer alongside Kevin Williamson.
