McG does Terminator

Last month I told you all about the new Terminator movie. How it’s called TERMINATOR SALVATION: THE FUTURE BEGINS and that McG was rumored to be sitting in the director’s chair.

Well our significant others over at JoBlo have just dropped the news exclusively that McG is in fact directing TERMINATOR SALVATION, it’s a done deal!

So how do we take this news? Nothing McG has done has struck me as great yet, so as long as it entertains me, I’m good. JoBlo also reports that none of the cast from the prior films will be returning, at least nobody is signed yet. Production is set to start in early 2008 with a Summer 2009 release target.
