So did you like FEAST? Or maybe your looking forward to next month’s SAW IV? If you answered yes to either of this questions, you’ll be pleased to find out that Marcus Dunstan will finally be starting production on MIDNIGHT MAN.
Apparently, at last year’s Fear Fest, Dunstan, along with John Gulager and Diane Goldner, showed off a clip from MIDNIGHT MAN that the trio had taken it upon themselves to film. A year later, the movie is finally getting made. It created some big buzz last year, and with these guys behind it, I’m sure it won’t disappoint. Now MIDNIGHT MAN is about a man desperate to repay his ex-wife, to whom he owes a large debt. He breaks into his employer’s home to steal valuables, unaware that another, more ruthless criminal is already there and has setup a series of booby traps throughout. Sounds good.
Marcus Dunstan will be making his directorial debut, he’ll also be writing the script with Patrick Melton. The pair are also responsible for FEAST, SAW IV, THE TINGLER, and the upcoming FEAST sequels. MIDNIGHT MAN is said to start filming in January 2009. Until then we’ll be sure to keep you updated!
