I think it’s safe to say Christopher Nolan’s THE DARK KNIGHT RISES is one of the most anticipated flicks since… well… THE DARK KNIGHT. I mean this thing is still a year away and excitement for it is already skyrocketing. When else are you going to see an article written for the sole reason to tell you all that a trailer and poster are on the way, and are not actually here yet? Yeah when that happens you know you’ve got something big.
And that is exactly the case with THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. Now the folks over at SuperHeroHype heard from a little birdie that a teaser trailer and poster for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES should be coming at us next week when HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PART 2 hits theaters! So if you were looking for an excuse to go and see that shite (you know you want to).. there it is! According to SuperHeroHype the trailer will be a minute and 33 seconds long. Pretty stacked for a teaser. I can’t wait!!
THE DARK KNIGHT RISES is currently filming with a release date of July 20, 2012 already pegged. It sports an all-star cast that includes Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard (below), Juno Temple, Josh Pence, Daniel Sunjata, Nestor Carbonell, Matthew Modine, Tom Conti, Joey King, Brett Cullen, Chris Ellis and Josh Stewart.
