Just as his supernatural thriller OCULUS is about to hit theaters, director Mike Flanagan has already heard good news regarding the release of his follow-up project, SOMNIA. According to Deadline.com, Relativity has acquired the U.S. distribution rights to the horror film, which continues the relationship between the filmmaker and the studio, as Relativity is also releasing OCULUS next week in over 2,500 theaters.

Starring Thomas Jane, Kate Bosworth and Annabeth Gish, SOMNIA revolves around

an orphaned child whose dreams — and nightmares — manifest physically as he sleeps.

No release date has been given to SOMNIA yet, but hopefully we’ll hear official word on it soon. The production wrapped late last year.
