American Horror Story Season 7 tease has an unsettling post-election theme

Last Updated on July 31, 2021

Every season, the horror-themed television series AMERICAN HORROR STORY changes its theme, giving the show a fresh, new-viewer friendly spin with every installment. Now, while we haven’t been told much about the show’s upcoming seventh season, we have learned that it will be politically-charged, and that the first episode will take place on Election Night of the most recent United States presidential election.

I don’t think I’m out of line here when I say that it’s anyone’s guess as to what manner of horror-fuled mayhem will be invoked as the program wades into such murky and politicized waters. That being said, if the art posted by the show’s creator, Ryan Murphy, is any indication, viewer’s are in for a frightfully good time.

You can check out Ryan’s Instagram photo below:

AMERICAN HORROR STORY Season 7 will see the return of series alums Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters, alongside new additons to the cast Billie Lourd and Billy Eichner. Whoa! What? Billy Eichner will be starring in AMERICAN HORROR STORY? Oh boy, not I’ve got to watch!

AMERICAN HORROR STORY Season 7 will return to frighten the hell out of viewers later this year.
