Army of Thieves teaser poster hints at pre-apocalypse heist

Zack Snyder's ARMY OF THE DEAD proved to be a hit for Netflix when it was released back in May and soon we will see how Dieter (Matthias Schweighöfer) embarked on a much different adventure in the prequel, Army of Thieves. Coming about two weeks since releasing the first images from the film, Netflix has unveiled the official key art from the upcoming prequel.

Directed by Matthias Schweighöfer, "In this prequel to Zack Snyder's Army of the Dead, a small-town bank teller Dieter gets drawn into the adventure of a lifetime when a mysterious woman recruits him to join a crew of Interpol's most wanted criminals, attempting to heist a sequence of legendary, impossible-to-crack safes across Europe." The prequel also stars Nathalie Emmanuel, Ruby O. Fee, Stuart Martin, Guz Khan, Jonathan Cohen, and Noémie Nakai. You can check out the film's official key are below!

Army of Thieves is written by Shay Hatten with a story from Zack Snyder. While there is no firm release date yet, Netflix has revealed that we should expect it in the Fall of this year. We actually had a chance to chat with Matthias Schweighöfer about the upcoming prequel back when Army of the Dead was set to be released so make sure to check that out in case you missed it!
