Cool Videos: Chewbacca drops the bass in EDM remix

DJs deserve a ton of credit for what they can do in creating new music. Too many people hold onto the perception that all they do is push buttons, and, because they don’t play any instruments, they’re not true musicians, but artistically, they are capable of some amazing things.

For example, have you ever heard Chewbacca’s roar and thought to yourself, “I can make a song out of that”? Don’t worry. I haven’t either. But Eclectic Method did, and they have now dropped it onto the world for our listening pleasure.

Now I’ll admit… It’s certainly not for everyone, but any self-respecting STAR WARS fan is going to want to lend it their ears, because… well, it’s an EDM remix built around Chewbacca. How could you not want to hear that, even if only once?

Eclectic Method will be playing The Book Club in London on September 12, so, if you’re across the pond, you have a shot at hearing this live. Otherwise, the rest of us will just have to keep this on repeat for the next couple months as we wait for Chewbacca’s return in STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS on December 18.
