The TERMINATOR series has been on the downslope for some time, but producer and series creator James Cameron and director Tim Miller (DEADPOOL) are hoping to reverse that with the sixth entry – TERMINATOR: DARK FATE. We’ve seen plenty of photos of returning players (Linda Hamilton, Arnold Schwarzenegger) and new ones (Mackenzie Davis), but we will finally get our first look at some footage tomorrow. To get you even more psyched Paramount is stoking the fires of anticipation with a brand-new teaser poster for the movie, showing Hamilton’s Sarah Connor walking a lonely, apocalyptic road.

As far as teaser posters go it’s not all that much to go on, but it will certainly look good hanging up in theaters around the country. The goal is to advertise this is not just another in a series of lesser TERMINATOR movies like SALVATION and GENISYS, but a return to form. With that, you bring out Hamilton, with the tag that further establishes this is meant to continue off the first sequel, JUDGEMENT DAY: “Welcome to the day after Judgement Day.”

Our own Paul Shirey got a glimpse at some footage of the movie at Cinema-Con not too long ago, describing some action scenes, a heavy focus on Davis' character and the appearances of Hamilton and Schwarzenegger. The footage in the teaser tomorrow may be a bit different, as Miller posted last week that they were still working on the trailer, which would be ready in a matter of "weeks". Clearly, he added an extra "s" there, perhaps for the element of surprise, which if that was the case, good move, sir.

TERMINATOR: DARK FATE is in theaters November 1, and the first trailer hits the internet at 6 am PST tomorrow!
