Insane trailer for Simon Pegg’s Fantastic Fear of Everything

Simon Pegg, ever the reliable comedic relief to just about any movie, is back at it again, this time with A FANTASTIC FEAR OF EVERYTHING, an insane-looking British film that fits squarely in the, er, Pegg, of his repertoire.

Drop some acid and watch the trailer:

This looks wicked to me.  I’m not even British, but that word comes to mind after watching this.  Pegg consistently delivers, even if the film doesn’t (i.e. PAUL).  He’s just a blast to watch, plain and simple.

Here’s the synopsis for this crazy-ass flick:

Jack (Simon Pegg) is a children’s author turned crime novelist whose detailed research into the lives of Victorian serial killers has turned him into a paranoid wreck, persecuted by the irrational fear of being murdered. When Jack is thrown a life-line by his long-suffering agent and a mysterious Hollywood executive takes a sudden and inexplicable interest in his script, what should be his ‘big break’ rapidly turns into his ‘big breakdown’, as Jack is forced to confront his worst demons; among them his love life, his laundry and the origin of all fear.

A FANTASTIC FEAR OF EVERYTHING will be released in the UK on June 8th, but does not have a US release just yet.  Stay tuned for that and cheers to our Brit readers who will get to catch it before us.  Ye bastards!
