Kathryn Bigelow shoots bin Laden in India

This is exactly why the terrorists hate us. If it wasn't enough that a film about the death of Osama bin Laden is being done for the entertainment of American audiences. We somehow have the nerve for it to be directed by a woman, and filmed in India.

Kathyrn Bigelow's untitled film about Seal Team Six has begun shooting in New Delhi. The film will use the India locations to recreate Pakistan for the film's setting. While not much is known about the film, it is being written by Bigelow's THE HURT LOCKER writer, Mark Boal. Bigelow and Boal both won Oscars for their works in THE HURT LOCKER. Bigelow being the first woman to win "Best Director."

The film stars Joel Edgerton (WARRIOR), and Jessica Chastain (TEXAS KILLING FIELDS, THE HELP), and already has a release date of December 19th, 2012.

And what better Christmas present, than to wrangle-up the kids, head down to the local multiplex, and enjoy a compelling action film while munching on cookie-dough flavored Dibs.
