Fans of Todd McFarlane's SPAWN: THE ANIMATED SERIES rejoice! It's been announced that Keith David will reprise his Spawn voice role for NetherRealm's Mortal Kombat 11 video game!

Recently it was announced that Spawn will enter Mortal Kombat 11 as part of the game's upcoming Kombat Pack, alongside DC's Joker, and the T-800 Terminator. While Arnold Schwarzenegger won't be recording voice lines for his iconic character, David has officially confirmed that he'll be lending his vocals to NetherRealm's Spawn, when the character enters the tournament next year.

For those of you who aren't aware, David voiced the indie character that helped put Image Comics on the map for the animated HBO series that aired for from 1997-1999. The show lasted for three seasons for a total of 18 action-packed episodes.

While the character won't be available to Mortal Kombat 11 enthusiasts until March 17, 2020, McFarlane himself has already come forward to say that the character is looking great! "I haven't seen them all fully polished, but what I did see was pretty awesome," he said in an interview with Comicbook.com"I encourage them to basically go as crazy as … My only comment would be it wasn't crazy enough, so go crazy. If you've seen any of that game you know they can get pretty crazy."

Spawn fans, I hope you've got a Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch or optimal PC available, because I have a feeling that the character will be a must-own come March of next year. My hope is that Spawn will arrive equipped with wicked chain and cape-related moves, in addition to having the ability to wield hellfire at wiil. Moreover, if NetheRealm can figure out a way of including the Violator as part of a fatality finisher, that would be pretty sweet.

MORTAL KOMBAT 11 is available to play right now on Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
