New Black Panther clip teases an exhilarating casino brawl

Today is great day for BLACK PANTHER. Not only are the early reactions as stunning as we all hoped for, but now this new clip has dropped to give us all a taste of what those who saw it last night witnessed. It’s safe to say that my jealousy levels have spiked because this clip is beyond fantastic. Taking place during a casino fight scene, the clip showcases director Ryan Coogler’s visual style, with some longer takes and kinetic action. Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Chadwick Boseman, Andy Serkis and Martin Freeman are all here, and my heart is beating very fast. I may have to see a doctor.

Here is the plot synopsis for the movie:

Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther” follows T’Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king—and Black Panther—is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life.

If this is what we can expect for the rest of the movie, then BLACK PANTHER will indeed live up to the hype. All these characters are in play during the scene but it never feels claustrophobic or messy.  This is an excellent showcase for the movie and just the first of many more clips to come. The next two weeks are going to be magical.
