New Titans Season 2 trailer introduces Bruce Wayne, Superboy, Krypto & more!

DC Universe has unleashed an a brand-spanking-new trailer for TITANS Season 2 this afternoon, which teases the arrival of new characters and promises plenty of action for the hit show's sophomore effort. Included as part of the trailer's character reveals are Iain Glen's Bruce Wayne, as well as a first look at Joshua Orpin's Superboy (and his very good doggo, Krypto). The trailer also offers us another glimpse of Esai Morales' Deathstroke, the world-class assassin who's hell-bent on hunting the Titans until none are left standing.

The above mentioned characters aren't the only ones joining the fray this upcoming season. Other badasses set to make the Season 2 scene are Chella Man's Jericho; Drew Van Acker's Aqualad; Natalie Gumede's Mercy Graves; and Chelsea T. Zhang as Deathstroke's daughter, Rose Wilson, a.k.a. The Ravager.

As a major fan of the show's first season, I'm stoked to see that TITANS is packing this coming chapter with plenty of new characters. Judging by the trailer, Season 2 looks to be bringing more drama to the group, which can only spell disaster for our heroes if they fail to band together. Together we stand, divided we fall, and all that jazz. My hope is that continued stories from the show's first season don't get lost in the crowd, as I'd found Starfire and Raven's threads to be among the most compelling. My body is ready for more TITANS, and I've no doubt that DC Universe will bring the noise when Season 2 arrives.

DC Universe's TITANS focuses on a young group of superheroes led by Nightwing, who come together to combat evil and other perils in the DC universe. When Season 2 begins, the team will find themselves coming face-to-mask with Slade Wilson, a.k.a. Deathstroke, one of the DC Universe's most dangerous and deadly villains.

TITANS stars Brenton Thwaites (THE GIVER) as Dick Grayson/Robin, Teagan Croft (HOME AND AWAY) as Raven, Anna Diop (US) as Koriand’r/Starfire, Alan Ritchson (TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: OUT OF THE SHADOWS) & Minka Kelly (JUST GO WITH IT) as Hawk and Dove, Bruno Bichir (CHE) as Dr. Niles Caulder, and Lindsey Gort (LUCIFER) as Police Detective Amy Rohrbach.

TITANS hails from Weed Road Pictures and Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. The show stands as one of DC's most celebrated live-action series featured on their exclusive streaming service, alongside programs like DOOM PATROL and the now-cancelled SWAMP THING. DC's exclusive streaming service is also set to drop their HARLEY QUINN animated series on the platform in mid-October.

TITANS returns to DC Universe for Season 2 on September 6.
