Pair of Anomalisa featurettes introduce you to Michael and Lisa

I really cannot say enough fantastic things about Charlie Kaufman‘s ANOMALISA (and neither could JimmyO when he caught the film at AFI Fest). I believe this is a film that is really going to surprise a lot of people given the emotional weight in carries in such unassuming packaging, and I would hope self-proclaimed movie-lovers give it a shot in the coming weeks.

But to aid in the process of understanding what the film is about or, in this instance, who, Paramount has released a pair of featurettes introducing you to the two main characters of ANOMALISA – Michael (played by David Thewlis) and Lisa (Jennifer Jason Leigh). It’s a quick glance at who you’ll be going along with on the film’s journey and sort of set the tone for you as to what you can expect from the film.

ANOMALISA opens in theaters on December 30, 2015.
