One of the more intriguing films coming out this summer is Woody Allen’s WHATEVER WORKS, starring fellow curmudgeon Larry David as he explores the romantic landscape of New York City and gets involved with a naive southern peach played by Evan Rachel Wood. Although I’m a fan of most of the work that Allen did with his last four films in Europe, it’s nice to see him back in The Big Apple where he belongs. Ironically, here’s the French poster for WHATEVER WORKS, out June 19th.
