New Moon Knight poster shows off an eerie look at Mr. Knight

A new official poster has been released for Moon Knight and the image gives us a look at Oscar Isaac as Mr. Knight, one of Steven Grant’s more recent split personalities.

The poster was released on the show’s official Twitter page with a caption that reads “Check out the new #MrKnight poster. Watch Marvel Studios’ #MoonKnight, an Original series, streaming March 30, only on @DisneyPlus.” You can check out the new poster below!

Mr. Knight is a more refined persona of the Fist of Khonshu. Moon Knight tends to be about physical solutions while Mr. Knight’s intelligence proves to be his greatest weapon. Making him even more intimidating is that he can also psychologically terrify almost anyone that gets in his way.

A key plotline in the upcoming series is that Steven doesn’t know that he’s actually Marc Spector or Moon Knight. He also certainly doesn’t know about Mr. Knight as all four personas are part of Steven’s Dissociative Identity Disorder. This alone makes me eagerly await the release of this series.

Per the official synopsis for the show, “The series follows Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, who becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life. Steven discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc’s enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a deadly mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.”

The Moon Knight series was first announced in August of 2019 and Mohamed Diab was chosen to lead the directing team. Diab directed the first four episodes of the series while Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead were chosen to direct the other two. Filming began in late April 2021 in Budapest, followed by production in Jordan, which concluded in early October before moving to Atlanta, Georgia.

Moon Knight stars Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke, and May Calamawy. Mohamed Diab and the team of Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead directed the episodes. Jeremy Slater is the head writer, and Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Mohamed Diab, Jeremy Slater, and Oscar Isaac are the executive producers. Grant Curtis, Trevor Waterson, and Rebecca Kirsch serve as co-executive producers.

Do YOU like the new Moon Knight poster? Moon Knight hits Disney+ on March 30, 2022.
