Liam Neeson is undoubtedly talented, but can even he resuscitate the corpse of an actress?
We’ll find out — Neeson will play a potentially sinister funeral director in the upcoming supernatural thriller AFTER.LIFE (complete with seemingly superfluous title punctuation). The movie stars Christina Ricci as a woman caught in transition between life and death, desperately trying to communicate with the mortician before she gets permanently dropped into the dirt (which I could swear was also the story of a TWILIGHT ZONE or OUTER LIMITS episode).
The ghastly tale comes from director Agnieszka Vosloo, marking her feature debut. It’s been kicking around the graveyard for a while now — Kate Bosworth and Alfred Molina were originally attached before the project entered limbo. It’s now expected to shoot in New York next month.
