Writer Leigh Whannell posted the first behind-the-scenes image almost a week ago, today we found out that Jocelin Donahue (HOUSE OF THE DEVIL) joined the cast, and now co-writer and director of INSIDIOUS CHAPTER 2, James Wan, has posted a new picture on his twitter account straight from the shoot, currently taking place in LA, which features young Ty Simpkins facing lit candles. Sweet image I must say, take a look below!
The caption for the image says: “You need lots of candles for hypnosis”. My guess is that the kid is trying to get into a similar state of mind that Patrick Wilson’s character underwent in the first movie.
Jason Blum is producing the film. FilmDistrict will distribute it theatrically in the United States, and Alliance will distribute the movie in Canada, the U.K. and Spain. INSIDIOUS CHAPTER 2 is slated to hit theaters on August 30th
