Back in May we first got word on the Korean killer hog movie CHAW from Jeong-won Shin. At that time we were treated to a teaser poster featuring that hog’s piercing eyes and a teaser trailer.
Well today a new poster for the flick popped up over at 24FramesPerSecond and can be seen directly to the right. It’s your average ‘people lined up’ poster but the vicious piggy in the background adds a little something more to it… that things pissed! It looks like that hog is ready to do some damage! And I don’t know about you… but those characters don’t look very likable so I’m rooting for the animal!
CHAW is a black comedy about the events that are set into motion in a town after a man-eating boar goes on a rampage. Only other man eating pigs I can remember come from HANNIBAL but those weren’t very comedic… so maybe CHAW is worth checking out? We’ll have to wait a while though because all we know right now is that it’ll be hitting Korean theaters this month. No word on a US release but you can check out the (non-English) official site right over here.
