New domestic and international TV spots for The Avengers feature best look at villains yet!

JoBloJoBlo

This morning saw the release of the international TV spot for Marvel’s THE AVENGERS and now we have the domestic TV spot to go along with it, featuring the best look at Loki’s army yet.  Unless these guys take off those masks to reveal triple-sized green Spock ears, then I think the skrulls can finally be ruled out.  Either way, they look pretty cool.

The Joss-Whedon directed superhero extravaganza is just about a month away now, so expect advertisements and promotions to start flooding every venue you can think of.  I’m sure some will get Avengers burn out, but man, I’m happy to say that we CAN get Avengers burn out, seeing as this is a project no one thought they’d ever see.

Here are the TV spots and some sceencaps:

THE AVENGERS opens on May 4, 2012.  I have my ticket hanging in front of me right now.
