Along with the latest issue of Empire Magazine comes a brand new image from FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE CRIMES OF GRINDLEWALD. The still features Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) and Tina Golstein (Katherine Waterson) looking quite pensive while investigating a series of golden saftey deposit boxes.

In the sequel to David Yates' FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM (2016), a young Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) enlists his former student, Newt Scamander, in apprehending the dark wizard known to the magic-wielding community as Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp).

You can check out the new still below:

Not long ago, fans of J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter spinoff series had taken umbrage with Johnny Depp remaining in the role of Gellert Grindelwald for the sequel. The upheaval was in response to Depp being accused of domestic violence by his then-wife Amber Heard. In the months that followed the allegation, the case against Depp was dismissed. In addition to the dismissal, Depp and Heard jointly released a statement about the matter that read as follows: “Our relationship was intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love." Here's hoping that a bit of real-world courtroom magic doesn't deter fans from enjoying what's meant to be the second part of a five-film endeavor.

FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE CRIMES OF GRINDLEWALD will arrive in theaters on November 16, 2018.
