Today we got a look at the newest trailer for PARASOMNIA over in our video section. You can check that out by clicking the screen shot below.
A while back I showed you another trailer for the flick, that one being much longer and drawn out, with the quality being not so good. Well this one is much better in my opinion. It’s shorter, gets to the point, freaks you out, and looks great doing it.
PARASOMNIA is written and directed by William Malone, who’s no stranger to freaking out his audiences, being the director of the HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL remake and FEARDOTCOM. I remember watching the HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL remake years ago and was spooked when the ghosts started going all nuts. After watching the trailer for PARASOMNIA, it’s obvious this one has spookfest written all over it.
At least that’s the impression I’m getting. Twisted hot chicks slitting throats, freaky ass dreams, guys chained in a room with a hood over their head, folding masks… what the hell is going on here.
The simple synopsis from IMDB has PARASOMNIA centering on a woman suffering from a medical condition that causes her to sleep her life away, waking briefly on rare occasions.
With a mind like Malone’s behind this one, that’s got loads of potential. I’m definately set to check it out. The flick stars Dylan Purcell, Cherilyn Wilson (below), Patrick Kilpatrick, Jeffrey Combs, Timothy Bottoms, Kathryn Leigh Scott, Brennan Bailey, and Sarah Laine with what I’m assuming is a cameo by John Landis. You can check out the official website over here. It’s looking at a release sometime this year.
