Just last week Mike showed you all the latest trailer for PONTYPOOL. Well that trailer wasn’t much different from the first… but this one is!
Today we’ve got a look at yet another new trailer for PONTYPOOL over in our videos section. The new trailer is actually pretty cool and has me stoked for the flick! Here’s the synopsis: At a radio station in Pontypool one day, the morning team starts taking reports of extreme, bloody incidents of violence occurring in town. As the story unfolds, the radio staff soon realizes the violence that is ripping society apart is due to a virus being spread through the English language. That in turn poses a problem for a yappy radio jock and his staff holed up in the broadcast booth housed in the basement of the town’s abandoned church as a slaughter rages beyond its walls.
I think this one may rely a bit on how awesome this DJ character is. I’m guessing it’ll be pretty cool none the less. PONTYPOOL is released here in the US on May 29. It’s directed by Bruce McDonald and Tony Burgess and stars Stephen McHattie, Lisa Houle, and Georgina Reilly (below). Keep it here for any and all PONTYPOOL updates as we hear them.
