New red band trailer for Feral starring Scout Taylor-Compton gets the virus

"It's got the feral virus."

Nice. I see as lot of trailers working for AITH and I'm always on the lookout for ones that spin a unique take on a well-worn story. Take this flick's story for example: kids go out into the woods. Kids camp. Kids get attacked by something, hide in a cabin in the woods, and fight to see the dawn

Seen that premise play out a hundred and three times haven't we? Yep. But that doesn't mean there isn't new blood to be spilled. Case in point with the new Scout Taylor-Compton (aka Rob Zombie's Laurie Strode) camper-killer creature-feature FERAL.

The spin here is that the kids are killing each other because they have been stricken with, and are spreading, something a scruffy (as always) Lew Temple calls "The feral virus." Seems like good, gory times to me!

You can check out the new bloody trailer below, and I will keep you up to date on any further news we hear about FERAL.

FERAL synopsis:

FERAL stars Scout-Taylor Compton (Rob Zombie's Halloween) as Alice, a medical student who goes on a weekend hike with her new significant other Jules, played by Olivia Luccardi (It Follows), and four best friends. Their idyllic vacation becomes an unrelenting nightmare after a wild animal attacks the camp, infecting the campers with an unknown virus that turns them into rabid, bloodthirsty creatures. Alice and Jules must tap into their animalistic instincts to survive the horror waiting for them in the woods.

The film also stars Lew Temple (THE DEVIL'S REJECTS), Renee Olstead, Brock Kelly, Laundry Allbright, and George Finn.
