New trailer for Disney’s Frozen gives more backstory and teases the music of the film

Disney's latest CGI animated tale, FROZEN,  is set to roll in next month and it has all the spirit and style of their similar effort TANGLED. Now, we have a new trailer that dives more into the backstory and villain of the film, Elsa, and also teases the music, particularly the songs. With the bold claim that this is the greatest Disney animated event since THE LION KING, this has got a lot to live up to, but I can't deny that it looks pretty fun. I mean, at least it's not ESCAPE FROM PLANET EARTH, right?

Have a look/listen:

The irony of Josh Gad‘s snowman character happily yelling "Let's go bring back summer" is a bit too much, but then I reminded myself that it's a talking snowman and all was right again. The film also stars Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff, Alan Tudyk, and Idina Menzel as Elsa. This will likely make some solid dough, especially heading into the holiday season, and it looks harmless enough in terms of animated kids films, which have been rather lackluster this year.

FROZEN debuts on November 27, 2013.
