When a new Nicolas Winding Refn film is on the horizon, it's usually hard to unravel the mystery of what he has in store for you by the movie's trailer. Stylistically, you always get a taste of something interesting awaiting you. But, when it comes to story, Refn's pictures play it very close to the vest, preferring you experience something new when you sit down to watch the film as a whole rather than giving you everything upfront before you even set foot inside a theater. But THE NEON DEMON has intrigue going for it by maintaining some aura of mystery, and, by the time the film arrives in theaters on June 24, your interest may have been piqued enough by looks like this to warrant giving it your attention.
