New Twin Peaks teaser reminds us where the original series left off

Last Updated on July 31, 2021

Diane:

With the release date of the new TWIN PEAKS revival series on Showtime less than three months away, it seems most likely that a massive advertising blitz is gearing up soon. While not quite there yet, the show's official twitter posted this recent teaser. I'm going to take a look:

Well Diane, while there's admittedly no real new footage, it DOES at least tells us that the show won't forget what happened to Agent Cooper at the end of the original series. While it was probably assumed the new Showtime series would continue from that thread, it's still nice to have confirmation.

Which honestly raises more questions than answers: indeed, what did happen to Agent Cooper? As for me personally, I'm dying to find out.

Either way, TWIN PEAKS will premiere on Showtime May 21st, 2017. Over and out.
