You can’t swing a dead baby in the horror community without hitting someone who has been shocked and awed by the uber-controversial SERBIAN FILM; if you hit me with said baby, however, you’d hear nothing, because I haven’t seen the sucker yet. Might be for the best, as I’ve heard even the hardest of the hardcore genre fans have been slapped dumbstruck by the flick. That said, it’s the kind of buzz that signifies something… special, for lack of a better word. How can I miss it? (Our own Arrow has seen it; check out his review HERE.)

In any event, the good blokes in the UK are going to get a chance to see this flick in theaters next month, on DECEMBER 10th (a nice holiday movie, don’t you think?); those who can’t make it out to the cinema will be able to peep it on DVD and Blu-ray on JANUARY 3rd. To celebrate (?), we’ve got a brand new trailer for you. It’s not over the top or particularly NSFW, but it sells the twisted concept and the striking visuals of the piece all the same. Check it out below.

Once you’ve scoped that out, you should hit up Cult Labs’ official site for the film right HERE; they’ve got all your SERBIAN FILM needs – and then some!

In related news, it would appear as though the Srdjan Spasojevic-directed nightmare will be unleashed here in the states sometime in February; the plan – at least tentatively – is to release an R-rated version for its nationwide release, while the uncut version will play limited. Both will likely be available soon after on DVD/Blu-ray, and apparently there’s even a deal in place to air the R-rated cut on Showtime!
