New Underworld Trilogy?

Less than 24 hours ago Eric hit you all with the news that there will in fact be a fourth UNDERWORLD movie and that it’ll be coming at us in 3-D! What movie isn’t coming at us in 3-D? And for that matter what movie isn’t the start of a new trilogy? See what I’m getting at here?…

Not only did ShockTillYouDrop tell us an UNDERWORLD 4 is on the way but now they’re reporting that the fourth film will be the start of a new trilogy! Not only that… but this new trilogy will center on Selene’s story! You all remember Selene… the hot ass vampire played by Kate Beckinsale? Yeahh… you know. Kate Beckinsale is smoking hot. Kate Beckinsale in tights and being all badass vampire is really smoking hot. So a whole trilogy on this character? That might not be half bad!

Unfortunately there’s no telling if Kate Beckinsale is indeed signed on or even interested in reprising the role of Selene. UNDERWORLD 4 already has a release date pegged for January 21, 2011 so hopefully we’ll be hearing more developments soon!
