New video and images of the batmobile in action on Batman v Superman set

Despite being stolen and recovered from the Detroit set of BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE, Zach Snyder has not stopped filming scenes involving the latest incarnation of the Batmobile for his new film. As production continues, we have a new image and video of the Dark Knight’s vehicle in action.

First up is a new image that captures our brightest look at the Batmobile to date. Either under camera lights or streetlights, we can see the slick design that combines the traditional comic book design crossed with the more realistic, military look of Christopher Nolan‘s tumbler. We also have a new video that showcases a blurry look as the Batmobile drives into the distance followed by gunfire. We have been unable to determine if the gunfire was part of filming or just another night in Detroit.

Things are shaping up nicely as BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE rolls along. We have already gotten looks at Henry Cavill in costume as both Clark Kent and Superman but we have only seen Ben Affleck in his Bruce Wayne attire. Hopefully one of these days we will get a look at the cowl emerge from the Batmobile ready to kick some Kryptonian ass.

BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE hits theaters on March 25, 2016.
